Less than two years after a fire closed Bread Basket's original West Side location, co-owner Bill Sarikas reopened a more casual version of the formerly fine dining restaurant a few streets north, this time focusing on affordable counter-service food. Diner-style sandwiches, burgers and pasta make up a bulk of the menu, but its real specialty is the pizza: made-to-order and served on medium-thick doughy crust.
